The PhotoHouse is the oldest photography shop in Israel.
It was established in 1936 by photographer Rudi Weissenstein and his wife Miriam and has become
one of Israel’s largest and most important private archives of historical photographs.
Our unique collection consists of over 1 million negatives that document Israel’s both casual and historical moments from the 1930s-70s.
