This iconic photo was taken by Rudi Weissenstein's colleague, phototgrapher Paul Goldman. Goldman was one of the country's most fruitful photojournalists, who took countless photos of Israel in its early days. He worked mostly for international press agencies between 1943-1965. This photo captured David Ben-Gurion doing his famous headstand on Herzliya beach.
