The panoramic image of Gordon's Pool (actually made up of three square negatives) is part of a series of images taken on a hot summer day by the sea and has become one of the coveted images of The PhotoHouse.
It's always fun to discover all sorts of stories in this multifaceted picture, such as the fact that the police forbid playing cards in a restaurant ... really ?!
We started in 1936 as an active photo house on 30 Allenby Street, Tel Aviv. More than once visitors come here and lose a sense of time as they browse through the variety of products, books and archive albums and develop in-depth conversations with our small and warmly staff.
Have we awakened all your senses?
Come with love for a magical experience.
Rudi Wiesenstein, the founder of The PhotoHouse, documented the events of the developing country and its inhabitants for 50 decades and cultivated a magnificent archive with over a million negatives that we preserve in The PhotoHouse.
