Each took a different text passage and transformed it into a small world of interpretation, style, humor and emotion. The result is a refreshing, colorful and inspiring reading experience - just like Passover should feel.

We started in 1936 as an active photo house on 30 Allenby Street, Tel Aviv. More than once visitors come here and lose a sense of time as they browse through the variety of products, books and archive albums and develop in-depth conversations with our small and warmly staff.

The PhotoHouse Salon is a magical and intimate space, designed in the style of the 60s. A space where there is no sense of time :)
Our salon is used as a cultural venue for lectures, workshops and exhibitions, It hosts our photography studio and is also available for rent for private events.
Rudi Wiesenstein, the founder of The PhotoHouse, documented the events of the developing country and its inhabitants for 50 decades and cultivated a magnificent archive with over a million negatives that we preserve in The PhotoHouse.
