Illustrator and graphic designer Efi Ryvkind was born in Tel Aviv in 1935 and has lived and worked there ever since.
He is a graduate of the graphic design department at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem.
His main specialization is illustrated advertisements and designing logos, posters, stamps, and books.
Among the companies he worked for are El Al, Bezeq, IDF, Israel Post, Bank Hapoalim, Israel Police, The Ministry of Tourism, Tambur, Elite, Schweppes, and more.
Rivkind is best known for his humorous posters and illustrations using brightly colored motifs, which in an interview he stated, are probably influenced by the psychedelic era of the Beatles.
Efi Rywkind designed this Negev poster for the Ministry of Tourism in the 60s.
