A Wise Boy

The message that has been coming to me in recent days is to strengthen what is instead of what's not. And that is exactly what I want to do.

So what do we have here? An innocent boy waves a cultural hero as if to say, “I want to be like him when I grow up.”

Yitzhak Navon, was born 100 years ago and as Wikipedia states, during his tenure as President of the State of Israel, he paid great attention to the Arabs of Israel, making his way to the development towns and Moshavim. He worked for a good education for democracy and for coexistence, initiating meetings between Jewish and Arab students, introducing the idea of teaching Arabic to Jewish students in public schools, initiating the "Culture Basket" activities to impart culture and art to Israeli students, and introducing the heritage studies of Eastern Jewry.

Thank you, Yitzhak Navon for your work and thank you, child. You reminded us that there is work to do.
